It is ashame that HUST was not listed in the top 21 Universities in China

Hi,all:

It is ashame that HUST was not on the list of Top 21 Universities in China even after merging with some other universities.

Back to 15 years ago, I bet nobody from HUST believe it. HUST was always listed in the top 10. Sometimes it was even ahead of KEJI DAXUE or XI'AN JIATONG DA XUE. We were proud of it for its achievement (we, as a part of HUST, also contributed to it) as a very young university.

Was there anything happened or the leader was not good enough to lead the university after that?

Should the leader who served as chancellor recently (10 year round) take the responsibilities? Or Who else should take it?

The leader of HUST should think about it.

There was a celebration for the merging or something else, right? But was there anything need to be celebrated???

Shall we take some actions about it?

We(at least myself) are very care about the reputation of my motheruniversity!!
