Senior Engineer - Pack Enclosure And Structure (Based in China)
Department:
BPI (Battery Package Integration)

Major Responsibilities:
• Define battery pack enclosure and structure components design concept
• Responsible for pack enclosure and structural components detail design and technical specifications, including material selection, GD&T, machining methods, etc.
• Develop pack testing and validation plan
• Responsible for technical communication with vehicle OEM, provide problem solving support throughout development and production phase
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s Degree or PhD is preferred
• Mechanical Engineering is preferred
• 5-10 years’ experience in related field
• English and Chinese simplified: Fluent
• Familiar with vehicle body and chassis structure design processes and best practices
• Understand pack enclosure GD&T and NVH requirements under different vehicle drive cycles
• Familiar with body design CAE modeling tools (NASTRAN, ABAQUS)
• Hands on knowledge and experience in GD&T, machining, casting, tooling
