休斯顿校友会年会及秋季郊游定在11月8日
Dear Alumni,
It is time for our annual meeting and picnic party. The board members had a meeting last Sunday and made a final decision for our picnic party.
Location: Memorial Park.
Time: 11:00 am----3:00 pm in Nov. 8th (Sunday).
Cost: Free
You will see your old friends and some new faces, enjoy delicious foods, and have funs. To make our picnic more attractive, the board members will prepare the following home-made foods. You Are Welcome To Bring Your Favorite Dishes to share with us too.
Organic Winter Melon, Noodles, Corns, Tea eggs,
Hot dogs and chips (for children),
Water, beverage, and
Barbeque
We will also organize several games for families, the winner will have gifts. If you want to show your skill, you can practice at home before you come to compete.
1. Family competition I---- 20-30 meter run with 2 legs from 2 people (1
adult + 1 kid).
2. Family competion II---- throw and catch uncooked-egg between family members (1 adult + 1 kid).
3. Jump Rope（Tiao Shen ）
4. Tao Quan.
5. Hula-Hoop.
6. Volleyball.
The whole event will be recorded, and you can get a copy.
